Visionworks Inventory Planner in San Antonio, Texas

HVHC currently has an opening for a top notch individual to office in San Antonio, Texas for the position of Inventory Planner. The Planner is responsible for developing and monitoring annual inventory plans and maintaining dynamic open-to-buy calculations for Visionworks and Davis Vision. Plays a key role in helping Inventory Management Team achieve annual team goals.
Develop annual inventory plans in dollars and units, consistent with the turnover objectives of
Visionworks and Davis Vision.
Maintain dynamic monitoring and reporting of actual performance to plan in dollars and units, and communicate open-to-buy with Inventory Managers and Product Managers.
Maintain current knowledge of the technological opportunities in the Island Pacific Merchandising, Analytics, and Planning systems, and routinely share with others on the team. Includes a lead business role in any systems upgrade.
Collaborate with Merchandising and Distribution to ensure effective flow and goods.
Create OTB for respective division and work with Inventory Managers to achieve Receipt and EOP goals.
Participate in quarterly review to understand and plan the Non-model Inventory in order to meet team goals.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination or experience and education
Experience & Background:
Three (3) plus years of forecasting or planning experience
Retail Inventory experience preferred
Advanced skill in all Office products and Access Database
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of statistical models
Strong Analytical skills with strong trend and pattern recognition
Able to create, maintain and interpret detailed data into a summary analysis and action points
