We are seeking a Military Treatment Facility Support Analyst to join our team.

Job summary:

The contractor shall support various aspects of the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) pharmacy programs, such as, NCPDP/NPI enumeration, TRICARE Prescription Monitoring program, implementation and maintenance of standard pharmacy drug files; Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) drug file and table issues, and provide support on the Tpharm4 contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain implementation of Pharmacy Drug Standardization (PDS) master file.

  • Assist in documenting PDS business rules and related MTF CHCS training materials.

  • Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures for the PASS’s role in supporting the implementation and sustainment of PDS.

  • Assist developing and delivering training to the PASS MTF Support team.

  • Provide research and collecting information as needed by the PDS workgroup and in support of new initiatives.

  • Participate in regular PASS and PDS workgroup meetings.

  • Communicate strategies with MTFs to improve performance on DHA value metrics.

  • Assist in resolving issues that affect transmission of prescriptions between MTFs and the TPharm Contractor

  • Provide customer support to pharmacies, pharmacists, and beneficiaries when referred from the TPharm Contractor.

  • Support MTFs in resolving issues related to electronic prescriptions (E-Rx).

  • Attend meetings as requested and performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Participate in outreach activities inside and outside the Agency including public relations, publications, conferences, and presentations.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years or more experience with MTF CHCS Pharmacy Drug File

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications: Excel and Word

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, maintain multiple contacts and liaise with numerous executives, consultants and support personnel.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3 years or more)

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • State Registered and/or Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred

Communication Skills:

  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Travel:

  • Willing to travel occasionally as needed (up to 10%)

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly sedentary; in an office environment

  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds

  • Flexible in working extended hours
