Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

(Flexibility with occasional overtime)

A New Account Administrative Tracking Specialist for Jefferson Bank will perform administrative and clerical duties in support of the New Accounts division with a major concentration on the Customer Identification Program (CIP) review and tracking process. A New Account Administrative Tracking Specialist will be responsible for assisting the New Account Administrative Supervisor and New Account Administrative Officer with special projects. As a New Account Administrative Tracking Specialist you will contribute to the overall success of the electronic banking department by:

  • Verifying all Consumer, Business/Trust and Foreign Individual CIP files generated by the new accounts staff
  • Preparing and maintaining data entry to the New Account Tracking Report
  • Answering phone inquiries and assisting employees with questions on Tracking Report
  • Assisting and retrieving audit files for BSA audit for CIP
  • Maintaining outgoing correspondence on outstanding tracking issues to new account staff
  • Filing of daily applications, maintenance paperwork and customer files

Work Experience

  • 2 years banking experience with 1 year of New Account experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, on phone and in person
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work with dual monitors

Supervisory Experience

  • None

*Education/Skills/Experience *

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Advance level of expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Reader PDF Programs


  • Proficient with PC (Windows XL, Outlook, IE 6.0, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Reader)
  • Ability to work with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, shredders, fax, t elephone headsets, calculators

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Skill to work in a dynamic, high monetary risk operations division governed by stringent deadlines and regulatory requirements
  • Complete tasks proficiently and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make effective decisions, while under pressure in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Practice proper etiquette when communicating verbally or via email/phone/in person

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to reach, bend and lift files up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to sit for most of the day in front of a computer
  • Must be able to write, speak and hear to communicate with customers
  • Must be able to read from a computer screen
  • Must be able to type on keyboard
  • Must be able to be mobile in an office environment
