Our Default Servicing team engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies.

Wells Fargo Home Lending is seeking to hire an Investor Relationship Manager (IRM) within the Investor Client Relations team. The IRM is responsible for managing the servicing relationship between Wells Fargo and its largest and most consequential clients. This person will lead the coordination and resolution of complex and impactful issues for the assigned customer base, while successfully balancing the interest of both the client and Wells Fargo. This position will require engaging in a variety of activities in risk identification and management, account management, operations, documentation, customer service and technical support.

The IRM will also execute on the following:

  • Proactively address operational servicing performance issues by monitoring and analyzing account activity, and creating reports and issue logs to identify irregularities and determine appropriate action.

  • Work with servicing operations leaders to ensure understanding and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for WF senior leadership and clients.

  • Represent client interests and needs for enhancements to WF operations and client management strategy.

  • Engage all appropriate levels of the client organization.

  • Leverage internal business partners to prevent and resolve client issues.

  • Develop and implement customized account strategy plans for assigned customer base.

  • Act as lead and directly manage other team members.

  • Participate as an expert on various business initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of mortgage industry experience

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
