Booz Allen Hamilton Operations Network Analyst in San Antonio, Texas
Support the Air Force's Cyber command and control (C2) center as a network operations analyst and subject matter expert (SME) and provide expertise in operational and tactical level planning and processes. Analyze large data sets and create tailored, repeatable, and scalable approaches for processes that range from data preparation to follow-up analysis and direction of actions by teams. Leverage information from data sets to develop, maintain, and review operation-level short and long-range Cyber operations products and mission output. Maintain responsibility for the development and articulation of operational-level guidance associated with analyzed data and propose branch and sequel options and actions to commanders. Maintain responsibility for analyzing and articulating the transition from strategic-level plans to tactical-level tasks that culminate in detailed guidance to tactical units.
-4 years of experience with deployment or integration of one or more of the following technologies: Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, SCOM, SCCM, HBSS, or Splunk
-3 years of experience with DoD IT, information systems, and communications, including working with IT service management and delivery or integrating network enterprises
-Experience with one or more of the following: Splunk,Elasticsearch, LogStash, and Kibana (ELK), Palantir, or other open-source analytic capabilities
-Experience with creating documentation to outline process and procedures
-Ability to produce graphical decision support products, including course of action depictions and operational overview slides to support interaction with 24 AF staff, units, and 624 OC divisions
-2-4 years of experience as a DoDIN analyst or other network analyst tasked with monitoring, threat discovery, or forensic response to incidents
-Experience at the 624th Operations Center
-Experience at another 24th Air Force unit
-Experience at an Air and Space Operations Center (AOC)
-Experience with provisioning systems, configuring systems, patching and managing systems, securing and hardening systems, and administering machines
-Experience with assessing network sensor feeds, including data loss prevention (DLP), host intrusion prevention (HIPS), or network intrusion detection (IDS) from any of the major vendors
-BA or BS degree
-Change Management Certification or training
-DoD 8570 Certification
