UnitedHealth Group Patient Transportation Specialist - San Antonio, TX in San Antonio, Texas

The Patient Transportation Specialist is responsible for conducting daily vehicle inspections and providing professional, safe and timely transportation of clients and staff members to and from their homes and various medical facilities.

Primary Responsibilities: Conducts daily vehicle inspections Picks up and transport clients and staff members to and from their homes and various medical facilities Provide door to door service for patients with no medical assistance Completes patient run reports daily Performs all other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent 6+ months of transportation or delivery experience Must be at least 25 years of age or older with a valid Texas driver’s license and able to pass a pre - employment Motor Vehicle Report check Excellent customer service skills Applicants must be flexible and available to work an 8 - 9 hour shift between hours of 3:00 a.m.

and 10:00 p.m.

Monday - Friday, with holiday coverage and some Saturdays as needed Preferred Qualifications: Medical patient transportation experience Bilingual (English / Spanish) fluency Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and / or machinery Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and / or in writing Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving Careers with WellMed.
