Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor
Job Summary –The Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation, and inventory management. The Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor is also responsible for the hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of all Pharmacy employees.

Supervises –Pharmaceutical Handlers
Duties (included but not limited to): • Oversee all pharmacy supply chain functions. • Maintain operating expenses based on an annual operating budget. • Provide training to all new employees. • Meet or exceed warehouse Key Performance Indicators. Prepare Pharmacy Key Performance Indicator report. • Ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed by the staff. • Ensure highest levels of Inventory accuracy are met or exceeded. Ensure highest quality and accuracy for all pharmacy processes. • Maintain effective communication with customers, co‐workers, and other team members. • Ensure that all material handling and transportation equipment is properly maintained. • Supervise cycle counting process. • Supervise physical inventory counts during inventory process. • Ensure pharmacy operations meet all department mandated timeframes and deadlines. • Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews for pharmacy staff. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

EXPERIENCE • Minimum 5 years warehouse operations management experience • Experience in healthcare distribution or pharmacy a plus • Experience utilizing WMS software a plus CERTIFICATE/LICENSE • Valid State Driver’s License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS –Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye‐hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to (XX) pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
OSHA CATEGORY –The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids). Persons who perform these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid, or to be potentially exposed in some other way.
