Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

(Must be flexible to work hours outside of schedule)

A Relationship Banker II for Jefferson Bank will establish and maintain relationships while providing excellent customer service using financial knowledge to provide appropriate solutions. As a Relationship Banker II you will contribute to the overall success of the branch by:

  • Making outside business development appointment calls for the Branch Manager, and assist with commercial lenders with loan closings
  • Assisting on the Teller line as needed
  • Assist Private Banking Officer with their servicing Private Banking Customers when needed
  • Analyzing customer needs so that appropriate recommendations can be made
  • Providing services to existing customers to include but not limited to; establishing IRA accounts, opening or assisting with access to safe deposit boxes, receiving customer applications, renewal of CD’s, issue and reissue of Debit/ATM cards, and placing check orders
  • Conducting follow up phone calls to prospects and current customers
  • Providing referrals to other areas of the bank as needed
  • Following bank established sales and service models, and adhering to compliance requirements and banking regulations

Work Experience

  • 1 year experience in a financial services environment or a consultative sales environment
  • Knowledge of bank products and services
  • Experience providing excellent customer service through various forms of communication (face to face, email, and telephone)
  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with demonstrated skills and results

Work Experience Preferred

  • Knowledge of new account operation systems

Supervisory Experience

  • N/A


  • Two years of College or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience on a year for year basis
  • Demonstrated ability to interview customer in a consultative manner to determine needs


  • Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with office equipment such as multi-lined telephones, copiers, scanners, shredders, and fax
  • Experience working with Banking new account software

Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced work environment
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow assigned tasks through completion
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to focus and work with deadlines

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to reach, bend, push, pull files up to 30lbs
  • Must be able to sit for most of the day in front of a computer screen
  • Must be able to speak to and hear to communicate with customers
  • Must be able to type on a keyboard
  • Must be able to read a laptop/computer monitor
  • Must be able to reach teller tubes
  • Must be mobile in an office environment
