- POSITION SUMMARY:*
Leads cross-functional development, efficiency and stabilization initiatives across the Retail Support functions of Construction Engineering & Maintenance, Retail Operations Support Real Estate, Merchandising and Retail Technology. Leads the development and maintenance of the Retail site-level and works to coordinate those efforts within the broader context of the Marketing technology road map. Identifies, designs, and implements process and system improvements within Retail, supporting site-level operation and Retail Operations execution. Manages assigned resources and engages Retail operations in the discovery, identification, interpretation and prioritization of profit-improving initiates. Communicates with all impacted stakeholders. Manages project schedules and implementation to achieve results within expected timelines.
Facilitates engagement, collaboration and alignment between Retail Support functions. Establishes and manages the on-time completion of cross-functional project plans.
Engages key Retail Support and Retail Operations stakeholders to understand and interpret business requirements and translate them into specifications for business improvement and efficiency initiatives.
Acquires an understanding of key site-level Retail functions, and integrates CEM, Operations Support Retail Technology and processes to aid in the achievement of Retail’s vision and strategy.
Monitors the advancement of industry-specific Retail systems and standards, and collaborates with Retail Support functional leaders to maintain a competitive level of functionality and support.
Manages assigned resources and ensures cohesiveness between improvements made between Retail Support processes and systems.
Develops and maintains an understanding of roles, responsibilities, practices, and guidelines for core Retail processes.
Designs, implements, and maintains performance measures and scorecards to measure Retail Support process improvements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*
Minimum undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Process Control Systems or related discipline required
Minimum 7 years’ experience in project management and process improvement is required
Experience with Retail Petroleum process control systems, including integration with off-site systems
Experience implementing process improvements using Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt Level certification)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and decision-making required
Passion for action and results
A collaborative personality combined with strong interpersonal skills
Understanding of Retail Petroleum processes preferred
Strong computer application knowledge, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), Visio and SharePoint
Technical understanding of data interfaces and database concepts
Experience with cloud computing services (e.g. PaaS, SaaS) or other marketing tools
Marketing and/or Sales experience
