Determine what data must be returned to applications and write queries for them.
Optimize any existing queries to speed up performance.
Create and design tables when new modules are added to a software product.
Determine the right stored procedures, views, and functions for applications.
Integrate 3rd party applications with current Enterprise applications.
Stay abreast of technological trends and continue developing business knowledge and expertise.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems; or equivalent work experience.
3+ years experience with SQL programming.
Knowledge of Transact-SQL (T-SQL) using SQL 2012 and 2015.
Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements.
Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases.
Experience in table design, including normalization.
Familiarity with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
This position requires the incumbent to work from the San Antonio office.
Must be able to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
SQL Server 2012 and higher
Visual Studio 2015 and higher working with SSIS
TOAD for SQL Server
SQL Server Enterprise Manager
Data Warehousing experience a plus.
Yardi experience preferred.
Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as computer, copier, fax, telephone, etc.; frequently required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
Ability to handle stress caused by multiple priorities, and other unforeseen situations associated with the organization.
Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
