Volt Information Sciences Sr. Financial Analyst in San Antonio, Texas

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently searching for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst.

This role is responsible for all aspects of Corporate FP&A support, with a particular concentration on organizations global balance sheet and cash flow statement. This position will help analyze, forecast, and operationally manage all balance sheet accounts, while also assisting on any special projects related to Corporate FP&A work streams.


Effectively engage with business partners to drive solutions that improve business outcomes. Help prepare monthly reports or analyses to identify current business performance, provide operational insights, and project future anticipated results. Participate in the annual budget, quarterly forecast and strategic planning process and provide support to business partners, to include project planning and analysis. Key contributor towards the development/maintenance of the global balance sheet forecasting model; Ensures validity of data and interprets and effectively communicates analysis to business partners. Gathers information, documents processes, analyzes data trends, identifies root causes and develops work products.

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Minimum of five years of progressively complex experience in any combination of financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, operations, budget development, or business strategy.

Financial modeling experience;

In depth knowledge of balance sheet/cash flow statement; Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, to include spreadsheet models and financial analysis. General understanding of financial process flows and internal controls. Proven work experience with analytical and organization skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment. Experience with data architecture and IT systems including accessing and analyzing data

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree/MBA in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or CPA. Experience with Oracle Hyperion, OBIEE, and Business Objects
