Booz Allen Hamilton Strategic Network Analyst in San Antonio, Texas
Support the Air Force's operational level Cyber command and control (C2) center as a strategy plans subject matter expert (SME), providing expertise in operational level planning and processes. Analyze large data sets and create tailored, repeatable, and scalable approaches for processes that range from data preparation to follow-up analysis. Use information from data sets to develop, maintain, and review the operational-level, short-, and long-range Cyber strategy planning products and their operational mission outputs in support of the 624th Operations Center. Maintain responsibility for the development and articulation of operational-level guidance associated with the analyzed data in the Cyber Operations Directive (CyOD) and propose branch and sequel plans to commanders. Maintain responsibility for analyzing and articulating the transition from strategic-level plans to tactical-level tasks, which culminates in detailed guidance in the CyOD. Produce graphical decision support products, including course of action depictions, apportionment recommendations, and operational assessment slides to support interaction with the 24 AF staff and other 624 OC divisions.
-4 years of experience with the deployment or integration of one or more of the following technologies: Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, SCOM, SCCM, HBSS, or Splunk
-3 years of experience with DoD IT, information systems, and communications, including working with IT service management and delivery or integrating network enterprises
-Experience with one or more of the following: Splunk, ELK (Elasticsearch, LogStash, Kibana), Palantir, or other open-source analytic capabilities
-Experience with creating documentation to outline processes and procedures
-2-4 years of experience as a DoDIN analyst or other network analyst tasked with monitoring, threat discovery, or forensic response to incidents
-Experience in Air Force Cyber
-Experience in an Air and Space Operations Center (AOC)
-Experience with provisioning systems, configuring systems, patching and managing systems, securing and hardening systems, and administering machines
-Experience with assessing network sensor feeds, including data loss prevention (DLP), host intrusion prevention (HIPS), or network intrusion detection (IDS) from any of the major vendors
-BA or BS degree
-Change Management Training or Certification
-DoD 8570 Certification
