The Healthcare Organization of HPE is seeking a System Administration Supervisor in San Antonio, TX.

The System Administration Supervisor is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the MHS Server Virtual Hosting Environment (SVHE) The System Administration Supervisor must interact with all levels of stakeholders, including DoD, sub-contractors, program offices, and SVHE customers.

Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day management of System Administration activities, specifically SVHE systems. - Resolve issues, manage risk, and prioritize work efforts of the team. - Develop staffing plans and schedule resources. - Prepare contract deliverables assigned to this area. - Work with Common Infrastructure Support Supervisor, Director of Service Operation and other account resources for full integration of operational activities. - Provide subject matter expertise in System Administration and Blade system operations. - Responsible for the care and development of employees. Qualifications:

Qualifications - Have or be able to obtain a successful ADP II Public Trust Investigation adjudication - Have or be able to obtain requisite DoD 8570 certifications - Have or be able to quickly obtain an ITIL v3 Foundation Certification - Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or related or equivalent certifications or work experience with Information Systems - Experience directly managing a system administration organization or team - Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident - Proven technical competency in the following areas: Windows System Administration Server Virtualization Storage Area Networks Network Communication processes Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to coordinate and lead multiple projects at one time Ability to understand and apply knowledge of current industry standard systems architectures Job: Services
