Shipping/Receiving Clerk I C Shift
Receive, store, prepare and ship material to support production needs and our customer requirements. Follow procedures and guidelines to ensure the inventory accuracy of the receiving and shipping warehouse at all times.
Answer all shipping delivery calls; take notes to forward to the shipper’s
Prepare the delivery packs for all products and hang on hooks
Sort deliveries, file documents based on record retention year(s)
Gather all obsolete documents to destroy records/shred
Scan all M799G Ford delivery documents/ Email to Ford, Customer Service & Team Lead
Manage ordering service for banding guns, etc
Order all office supplies, paper supplies, shipping request; organize, label all supplies as needed
Create shipping Facility Ticket to fix any items needed for shipping
Monitor shipping passdown spiral log, replace books as needed
Create, modify checklist for all forklift/pallet jacks
Update QS9000 documents to help Shipping comply to our OJT standards
Create visual aids, update phone list, update the visual tstands and visual wall boards
5s Visual compliance; Safety practices ; Recycling standards
Daily or weekly clean of office; dust, sweep, structure, reduce /eliminate unwanted items
Develop idea management idea’s to better our shipping department
Lexmark email – encourage our shippers to email all deliveries to customer service – eliminate paper
Lexmark scanner/fax – encourage our shippers to send a fax to our carrier’s only required – eliminate redundancy
Engage in better improving within our shipping area, reduce, lean, better utilize, implement (any aspect to help our shipper’s and work as a team
Systems/Programs – Shipping Telephone, Lexmark copier, SAP system, CEO’s, Lotus Notes, QS9000. Utilize computer systems and insure proper and accurate transactions are made. Have very good understanding of function screens in SAP. Fully understand customer labeling, packaging, ASN requirements, and carrier setup information
Communicate with Production and Customer service to facilitate customer shipments
Seguin Mezzanine Record Retention, cleaned out and shred all obsolete records
Seguin Iron Mountain Record Retention (San Antonio, Tx)
Manage Purchasing/Customer Service PPAP/ Record Retention (mezzanine)
Carry out various materials related tasks as assigned
High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred.
Familiar with warehouse operations
Have very good understanding of SAP

Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted, Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hrs Must be able to Push, Pull, Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Stand for 12 hour.
