The Vice President of Service Management is accountable for the day to day management of Sabre’s Enterprise IT Operations. This role is focused on the over sight and maturing of Sabre’s Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Release Management capabilities to ensure customer service levels are achieved.

This role will also have oversight of Sabre’s global 7x24x365 Enterprise Command Center Operations. This senior leader will immediately engage in collaboration with Infrastructure and Enterprise architecture to implement and develop fully instrumented and automated processes/monitoring within the currently outsourced Command Centers. The development of a world class operations presence is cornerstone to the success of this position. As such, this role will drive the insource of Sabre Enterprise Command Center functions by the end of 2017. This will include the construction of command centers and assist in building a 7x24x365 global team.

This role will work closely with peer Product Development teams to develop fully instrumented application monitoring capabilities within the Enterprise Command Centers. These functions will include Level 1 & 2 triage of both application and infrastructure incidents.

As a senior leader within Enterprise Technology Operations, this leader will frequently have direct working exposure with Sabre and client executive teams. Additionally, they will have oversight of a 50 member team and report directly to the Senior Vice-President of Enterprise Technology Operations. Peer Vice-President roles include Infrastructure Architecture, Environment Performance Management, Technical Service Delivery, Technical Lifecycle Management and HPE Technical Account Management.

  • 5-7 years’ experience at Director or above level

  • Prior management of 20 team sizes

  • IT Service Management

  • IT Operations

  • Global management a plus

  • Bachelor Degree (preferably BS), Master’s Degree a plus
