Position: Regional Manager Behavioral Health Services Reports to: Sr. Vice President of Operations Job Description/Requirements: As a Regional Manager Behavioral Health Services you will: • Be responsible for the training and oversight of the clinical psychiatric program, the maintenance of quality client care in compliance with federal, state and local regulations, accreditation standards, marketing the behavioral health programs, speaking at community awareness events, and adherence to budget goals. • Be responsible for the supervision of clinical staff and the maintenance of quality of patient care under federal, state and local regulations and accreditation standards. • Hires, monitors, and indirectly supervises clinical personnel. • Participates in the evaluation of employees in their performance including effective recommendations regarding continued employment, discipline and pay increase considerations. • Collaborates with DPCS/ED to initiate and execute disciplinary actions (formal and informal) with employees, including warnings (verbal and written) suspensions and effective recommendation of additional discipline, up to and including discharge. • Audits clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy and assures that it meets standards for sound clinical documentation and successful billing. • Assures that client care conferences are conducted and recorded. • Coordinates and facilitates interdisciplinary communication. • Assists with assessment for staff in-service needs and participates in in-service programs. • Assists with clinical orientation. • Participates in required clinical team conferences with other home care staff when appropriate. • Provides psychiatric nursing visits as necessary • Provides for public relations with the community-at-large, as well as organizations and individuals involved in the health field. • Ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities. • Interacts effectively with corporate staff, managers, employees, clients, professional colleagues and vendors. •Other projects/duties as assigned. Requirements of Qualified Candidates • 1 to 2 years direct Behavioral Health experience preferred • 3 to 5 years direct management experience preferred • Current license as a Registered Nurse in his/her practice state, qualified to provide home health psychiatric care under CMS guidelines • Working knowledge of state and federal home health regulations • Marketing and public speaking skills and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
