MW Builders Construction Project Manager in Temple, Texas

Own your career as a member of our 100% Employee Owned company! Due to growth we have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. We work in a variety of markets and welcome a strong commercial construction backgroundwith project sizes of $5 million or greater.

Job Summary: A successful Project Manager will provide overall management for a project or assist senior management on projects. Manage a field staff, contract documents, subcontractor performance, vendor compliance, budgets, costs, safety (in coordination with superintendent), profitability, and statutory and legal compliance. Maintain constructive relationships and communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, community officials and company staff.


  • Conduct pre-construction reviews including estimate review and contract documents. Develop purchasing strategies, project flow charts and assist with schedules.

  • Ensure subcontractors meet expectations of contract documents.

  • Direct and supervise the purchase of major equipment.

  • Establish and coordinate overall project schedule.

  • Ensure labor, material, subcontractors, and equipment cost control for all projects.

  • Ensure accurate completion and updating of all required project reports.

  • Maintain client relationships and assist in development of new business.

  • Ensure projects are completed per contract documents and schedule.

  • Assume responsibility for providing a safe work environment, as well as complying with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.


  • To perform this job, one must have the experience and ability to carry out each area of responsibility.

  • 5 years or more related construction management experience.

  • Bachelor’s level degree in related field

  • Driven, self-motivated

  • Team player

  • Detailed and organized

  • Commercial general construction experience required.
