RESPONSIBILITIES*:*The Division Director of Business Office Ops is responsible for helping lead a team of Regional Account Managers (RAMS) who provide direct oversight to Business Office Managers in a SNF/LTC environment. The RAMs are directly responsible for the management of Private and Medicaid Pending account balances as well as various reconciliation processes as it relates to A/R Management.

The Division Director of Business Office Ops will oversee the process of day to day functions of the RAMS providing support to and ensuring compliance with corporate policy to allow for maximization of facility level cash collections. This position will be responsible for training, coaching, and developing the RAMS to ensure appropriate support and accountability is applied with regards to facility level A/R functions. The Division Director of Business Office Ops will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing weekly RAM reports, oversee audits and reconciliations, aging reports as they relate to Private balances as well as ensure RAMs' involvement and compliance with Third Party Agencies in area of refunds, escheatment of funds, Collections, etc.


  • Minimum 5 -- 7 years' experience in LTC environment in an Accounts Receivable role
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Regional Account Manager role preferred
  • Working knowledge of Texas Medicaid eligibility requirements as well as Texas MCO Plans and Products
  • Experience with variety of A/R Billing software and Trust Fund Management software
  • Excellent, proven track record of success in managing multiple facility responsibilities as they relate to Accounts Receivable Management and Trust Fund management
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and ability to motivate team players required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; but not required
  • Managing multiple deadlines and projects is required. Some travel may be required


  • Ensure fiduciary control of private receivables through review and monitor of appropriate corporate policies
  • Participate in hiring discussion of new Business Office Managers
  • Analyze aging reports to ensure collection policies are followed
  • Conduct and/or participate in A/R reviews with RAMS/Facility Staff
  • Monitor Medicaid Pending accounts through RAM involvement
  • Manage workflow of RAMS to ensure even and accurate distribution of work load to maximize productivity, performance and cash collections
  • Monitor Trust Fund Reconciliations via RAM reporting
  • Interact with internal departments as required to ensure compliance and positive outcomes related to Pending Medicaid accounts
  • Review and provide feedback on weekly required RAM reports
  • Provide monthly reports and analysis to VP of Revenue Cycle
