Services Sales Executive (SSE) role

SDS is currently seeking to add a Services Sales Executive (SSE), which is an outside Sales Specialist role, to our team in the Raleigh or Charlotte area for our Enterprise customer segment. The role is responsible for growing Dell’s penetration of the SDS offerings within the assigned Region and Customer list. SSE’s work closely with many different Dell and EMC sales team members to identify, qualify, propose and close SDS business opportunities – spanning Dell client computing products, Dell storage & networking products, the EMC suite of products (including classic storage solutions and new converged / hyper-converged solutions) – including both SKU-based and SOW-based offerings. The SSE role is a strategic, high impact individual contributor role and should be viewed as the Services Sales leader within assigned geography. Relocation Assistance provided.

Role Responsibilities

  • Duties include working with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships.

  • Will work with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account

  • Requires the ability to influence others to achieve results

  • Can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships

  • Can effectively interface at many levels with senior managers
