The purpose of this position is to assist with the day to day operations of the Human Resources function, including the processing and maintenance of human resources paperwork.

  • Organize the department in a manner that optimizes efficiency in filing, maintaining and retrieving information

  • Organizes and maintains confidential employee records and files

  • Works with Talent Acquisition Department and new employee to complete new hire paperwork, including license verifications and credentialing information and background checks

  • Initiates contact with new employee as needed for on-boarding

  • Assigns employee number to new employee and enters ticketing solution to notify appropriate parties

  • Enters new employee into the HRIS/payroll system

  • Creates personnel file and separates documents as appropriate

  • Provide Regional Human Resources Managers with information to perform new hire orientation

  • Provide cross-functional help and understanding of all human resource process

  • Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

  • High School diploma or GED, required

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), required

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to type 40 words per minute, required

  • Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
