Position Description Responsible for implementing revenue cycle systems such as GE-centricity, charge interfaces, mobile rounding etc. and managing vendors to ensure that they deliver on outlined business service agreements, with specific oversight on guiding our product management strategy. To reduce cost while implementing the best in class preferred technologies for our customers. Responsible for understanding customer needs, specific product & project goals, and competitive positioning. Translate business strategies to implement product offerings, roadmaps, and ultimately a comprehensive product offering for The US Oncology Network while delivering against company strategic financial goals. Identify opportunities to integrate revenue cycle products with other US Oncology Network and McKesson Specialty Health revenue cycle technology including but not limited to Centricity Business, Centricity Practice, Lynx Mobile, Total View, EHR and RealMed. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Systems Implementation Support

Serves as the subject matter expert for revenue cycle systems and implementation. Plans and supports system implementation to include dependencies such as practice workflow, physician workflow, IT workflow, vendor (including McKesson BPS - Business Performance Services) workflow and other revenue cycle initiatives.

Serves as key point of contact and project lead for customer(s) and other business stakeholders. Manages all revenue cycle system implementation projects in The Network.

Responsible for overall customer satisfaction relating to project implementation. May need to manage multiple projects concurrently across multiple customers.

Collaborate with revenue cycle managers, business office managers and customers to identify opportunities to drive and/or accelerate revenue cycle improvements related to system implementations (for example review Televox implementation with Centricity implementations).

Directly manage a team of implementation specialist’s and set their project priorities, goals and objectives.

Develop and manage project work plan to deliver on-time, and within budget. Responsible for developing and communicating project charters and project plan to existing and new customers.

Educate practices on “best practices” to make use of Centricity and other McKesson preferred revenue cycle products on a regular basis. Incorporate best practices during implementations as possible without compromising on the budget or the timeline.

Manage implementation projects to meet the budget and timeline requirements as defined and approved by the management team.

Assign and track project activities and report to the management and customers on project outcomes. Proactively identify and alert management and customers on potential risk to the timeline and/or project deliverables. Manage expectations of the key stakeholders involved.

Negotiate timeline and resource requirements within each functional area maintaining the overall project objective and timeline.

Formally close out projects with appropriate hand off’s and transition plan at completion of the project. Product and Vendor Management

Serves as key point of contact for revenue cycle systems for customer(s) and manages vendor relationships.

Support management of application implementation along with IT, vendor and other McKesson and practice departments to ensure success delivery to customer. Working directly with vendor to escalate quickly should an issue arise in the implementation or delivery of services.

Develop and execute user acceptance test plans and scenarios. Validate that the product works as designed and that operational processes are in place; identify process improvement opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and efficiencies.

Gather customer feedback to continually enhance product by working with vendors and other internal MSH resources such as IT.

Engage with IT and other departments as needed to coordinate and manage the successful delivery of substitution products to customers.

Develop and champion a product vision and support of corporate goals and objectives.

Own and drive the product discovery and definition process.

Manage key dependencies and secure necessary engagement and resource alignment for the development of product features.

Manage vendor(s) future application enhancements and review and understand functional specifications to map out alignment with current business needs and anticipated future needs.

Develop new or enhance products and features to meet current client needs, and to anticipate future needs. Oversee product life cycle.

Co-ordinates product demonstrations and preliminary product introductions for the customers Leadership and Communication

Exhibits leadership throughout the lifecycle of program and project implementation by meeting customer expectations. Provides overall project leadership.

Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, key stakeholders and management on all aspects of implementation projects and product enhancement and support initiatives.

Develops and maintains customers, vendors, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports to ensure the direct reports successfully achieve their goals and objectives. Qualifications

Minimum Requirement 5+ years of product management experience including 2+ years managerial experience

Critical Skills

Experience in revenue cycle management and systems

Vendor management and contracting experience

Experience, coaching, developing and managing staff

Extensive experience in GE-Centricity Business or other similar platforms, charge interfaces and IT systems

Knowledge and experience with project management, change management, and lean six sigma tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Education MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements General Office Demands

Travel • 25% up to 50% required
