Baylor Scott & White Health Cardiology Tech I in Waco, Texas

The Cardiology Tech I records electromotive variations in action of heart muscle by using electrocardiograph machine to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments. The Tech explains test procedures to prepare patients and provide necessary instructions, utilizes all equipment associated with EKG procedures properly and records the necessary information accurately to obtain high quality results and monitors heart rates, arrhythmias and blood pressure under the supervision of a Senior EKG technician and/or a physician and notes any significant deviation in technique used to record EKG, completes required forms and distributes reports.

The ideal Cardiology Tech I candidate functions well in a fast paced environment and has excellent verbal and written communication skills to consult with patients and staff.
