Baylor University - Staff Title IX Investigator in Waco, Texas
The Title IX Investigator is responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the University’s Title IX compliance obligations. The Title IX Investigator will collaborate across divisional lines to manage safety accommodations. The Title IX Investigator will also collaborate with student groups to ensure that students are aware of their options and resources with respect to reporting and filing complaints alleging sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual misconduct and relationship violence. The Title IX Investigator will be responsible for collecting the relevant facts related to the reported Title IX incident and, in collaboration with the Title IX Coordinator, assess whether a further review or investigation is necessary in order to ensure the safety of the impacted student and the community.
Other Required Qualifications
Experience conducting investigations.
Knowledge of and experience with issues related to gender based violence.
Higher education experience is strongly preferred.

Other Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX and VAWA and other applicable laws and regulations is required
Knowledge of current state and federal law and regulations related to Title IX and VAWA compliance for educational institutions receiving federal assistance
Knowledge of best practices as they relate to institutions of higher education compliance with Title IX and VAWA
Ability to manage multiple, on-going and complex caseload of Title IX related incidents and complaints
Effective project management, organization and analytical skills
Strong presentation and facilitation skills with an emphasis on education and training for a variety of constituencies
Strong written communication skills
Ability to guide, advise and support the training and learning process with respect to Title IX and VAWA compliance
Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
Ability to build relationships and establish trust
