General Dynamics Information Technology Engineering Services Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia
Manages employees engaged in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas.
Manages one or more functional areas of information system solutions development and technical support, including personal computer/client server support, systems programming, applications design and development, database design and administration, information security, telecommunications and network support and administration.
Supervises non-exempt technicians and exempt professionals, and may manage subordinate supervisors.
Develops schedules and assigns work to meet critical customer deadlines.
Ensures that proper records and other documentation are maintained.
May also perform complex IT tasks.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
PMP, CCNP, VCP, CCP-V, MCSA, Network +, Security +, equivalent certs or experience
8-10 years of related information systems experience, including supervisory experience.
TS/SCI: Current and approved at award
Additionally, the Engineering Services Manager must have background with the following:
Configuration management and quality assurance
Network design and ops
Networking and network-based SW apps
Encryption devices and procedures as they relate to classified networks
Business Intelligence; i.e. strategy planning, implementation
Presenting to senior Government officials
