Provide valuable financial support services to the University community. This includes performing accounting duties related to accounting and reporting for grant accounting, grant award set-ups, budget transfers, corrections, monthly reconciliations, accounts receivable, and corresponding with outside granting agencies. This position also assists faculty and staff with various grant accounting needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Grant award set-ups including budgets. Grant management including corrections, transfers, invoicing, and financial reports. Request cash drawdowns and complete monthly reconciliations for grants and contracts. Monitor accounts receivable balances. Correspond with outside granting agencies and University Grants and Contracts department to verify billing details.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or the equivalent experience. Four (4) years of experience in governmental or commercial accounting. One to four years of experience in grants or contracts.
