The University of Texas at Arlington’s Campus Security and Fire Safety Report (the “Report”) is available for review. The Report includes crime statistics for the prior three calendar years. These statistics include crimes that occurred on campus, in non-campus properties owned or controlled by UTA and frequented by students, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to campus. The Report also includes information on fire statistics for campus residential properties for the prior three calendar years and current fire safety systems in these properties. In addition, the Report includes UTA policies related to the safety and security of our campus community. Job Summary

Provides accurate and skillful examination of student academic records for undergraduate admission. Evaluates and enters transfer coursework.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews transcripts from high schools, colleges and universities, computes/checks grade point averages, and Verifies academic standing. Compares content of courses at the University and those at other universities. Advise students preparing to transfer to other universities concerning those course credits, which will transfer. Corresponds with officials of high schools and institutions of higher education concerning course credits and content comparability. Maintains transcript files, current catalog files, scholarship and fellowship records. Assists in student registration. Performs other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree. Two (2) years of experience in a position requiring considerable record keeping accuracy or the equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with various office software products such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience and knowledge of MyMav (PeopleSoft). Excellent communications skills.
