Job Description

Overview:Processes a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing parts to jobs, physically moving parts, and inventory counts.

Skills and Abilities: Ability to:- Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment- Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed- Prepare crates and other items to be shipped- Process basic shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system- With training, operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc.- Deliver materials to appropriate departments and obtain required signatures- Demonstrate skills required to obtain forklift operator certification- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area- Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures- Read, write and speak English

Knowledge: - General knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, or transferring, and inventory control

Minimum Education and Certification: - High school diploma or equivalent- Valid Driver's License and good driving record

Minimum Experience: - Typically less than 2 years related experience

Leadership: - No leadership responsibilities
