Grande Communications is currently searching for a Business Development Manager for our Austin office.iThis role builds market position by locating, developing, defining and establishing business relationships.In this role, the primary responsibilities include:Identifies and follows up leads for potential sales opportunities for Enterprise, SMB and Multi-Family Projects.Establishes and maintains mutually beneficial relationships in areas that have the greatest impact in building Grandeis business plans.Prepares competitive analyses, profit and loss forecasts and makes recommendations for a business case for growth and development opportunities.Acts as a resource for information regarding business identification, initiation contacts, follow-up leads, and data collection to guide financial modeling and proposal generation, and assists in negotiation strategies until closing.Participates in market association meetings/events to develop new relationships and leads for possible new business opportunities.Works with internal teams and management staff to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the company.Assists when needed to respond and resolve customer service issues in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned.Our ideal candidate will possess:Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bacheloris degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.A minimum of five years ofiyears of experience in a similar role within a telecom (or similar) organization.Proficient Microsoft Office skills; Mustipossess advanced Excel skills.Must possess strong organizational skills and have excellent follow-up skills.Five to seven years of direct customer contact experience or experience using a similar CRM software.Ability to accurately build and maintain a database.Does this sound like the opportunity you've been waiting for?
