Change Management Lead - Global Sales Operations
job summary:
One of our Austin clients is looking to add a Change Management Lead to their team. This role will head up a small change management team in Global Sales Operations, who are focused on Sales centric change management. This team is tasked with early and regular engagement with global Sales and Support teams, regarding upcoming and in-flight change programmes that will often have a disruptive impact to existing ways of working.
The purpose of the team is to ensure that there are 'no surprises' for Sales and Support teams, and that key stakeholders globally are widely and thoroughly consulted and listened to, in order to ensure that these changes land successfully, and are adopted in a timely and enthusiastic manner.
Skills, knowledge & experience
Experienced business change manager, ideally with APMG Change Management Practitioner qualifications or similar
Successful track record of managing large change programmes and projects with Sales or Commercial teams across multiple regions and cultures
Leadership capabilities in inspiring, mentoring and developing the change team
strong ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships
Comfortable working with a range of senior leaders and flexing style accordingly
Able to negotiate firmly but fairly, particularly on questions of resource allocation
Excellent communicator with ability to work well in a highly collaborative environment
Ability to deal with change and ambiguity, and willingness to challenge the status quo

responsibilities:
Lead, develop and mentor a small team of change specialists
Review and strengthen the change management strategy and operating model for Global Sales operations
Manage allocation of team to projects, ensuring all are focused on high-priority change work, and that expectations are clearly set and managed with project sponsors
Build and maintain a portfolio view of change across the business and highlight and manage dependencies, risks and issues across the full set of projects and programmes
Collaborate with other parts of company, to ensure that changes are being planned and delivered in a sustainable way that meets objectives
Manage the Change team's communications plan to the Sales and Partner enablement (SPE) group, ensuring that its plans, relevance, and value are well understood
Fulfil change manager role on high impact/ high priority programmes and projects
