Oracle America, Inc. currently has Austin, TX based openings for a Cloud Education Renewals/Sales Representative reporting to the Oracle University global business unit. Utilizing a programmatic approach, this person is responsible to work with existing customers to build their success using Oracle University's innovative digital subscriptions. In addition, the Education Renewals team will expand our offerings within each customer and successfully renew these products toward the end of their subscription term. This is a new team and will involve a combination of Customer Service, Telesales, Business Development and Sales. Preferred sales experience –
2 years of individual quota carrying, direct sales or customer support experience
Experience in Customer Service, specifically around renewal of a yearly subscription business.
Ability to manage a large number of active accounts while simultaneously uncovering and closing new sales opportunities and new customers.
Experience developing and expanding upon existing customer relationships at multiple levels and across multiple functions within each organization with the ability to leverage those relationships to drive sales bookings.
Understanding of Oracle’s integrated technology solutions including the core technology stack, ERP applications software, Oracle’s SaaS, Paas and IaaS solutions, hardware products and engineered solutions.
Ability to navigate complex business processes and legal requirements to negotiate win-win contractual agreements.
Articulate verbal communication, professional business writing and presentation skills.
BS or BA degree
Experience selling SAAS or PAAS
2 years sales experience

First contact for prospects of Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force.
Acts as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business via inbound calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produces quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.
0-2 years related experience. Able to demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, and knowledge of Oracle products and services. Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products a plus but not necessary. Professional demeanor. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.
