WSP is currently initiating a search for a Construction Engineer for our Austin, TX office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
WSP is seeking motivated construction engineer for various transportation construction projects throughout the State of Texas. Assignments vary from small municipal projects to large multimillion-dollar highway, airport, and light rail projects. Projects are in the metro areas and some in the rural areas of Texas. Potential to see the entire state.
Mentor and guide a staff of engineers and inspectors assigned to various CE&I projects
Review staff diaries and back check quantities.
Daily interaction with contractor foreman and supervisors.
Read and interpret project plans and specifications, monitor and document contractor activities for compliance with project documents.

Bachelor of science degree in a related engineering or construction management field
10 - 15 years of Experience in the Transportation Construction Industry
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
Scheduling background, preferably with Primavera P6
Experience with TxDOT and local Texas based agencies and Mobility Authorities
