Aerotek Debug Technician in Austin, Texas


This person is responsible for doing a probe test when presented a part. They will use hand tools and interpret engineering drawings to make the initial decision if the product quality is considered a pass or failure.

The tests include engineering testing, checkout, first article inspection, root cause analysis, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.

This person will be responsible for filling out the documentation for their pass/failures.

They may need to evaluate data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.

This can include preparing graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis. (Excel, Word, Power Point), as needed.


Debug, electrical schematic, electrical troubleshooting, debugging, micrometer, oscilloscope, calibration

Top Skills Details:


  • 1+ years experience as a electrical/debug technician in a manufacturing environment

  • experience working with tools such as multimeters, test probes and oscilloscopes to do electromechanical testing

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Associates Degree or electronics certification

Communicate clearly both speaking and written
