Digital Marketing Manager

Position overview

The Role

Sparrow is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to support our efforts to drive brand engagement and lead generation through robust owned, earned, and paid channels. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in keeping the team and projects on track. The position may be based in our Austin, Texas or Dallas, Texas office.

What You?ll Do?

  • Research, plan, build, and optimize digital marketing campaigns.

  • Fine tune our SEO and test ways to optimize our online experience.

  • Ensure we are maximizing Google Analytics and using it to inform our campaigns.

  • Use data analytics and research to evaluate impact and effectiveness of campaigns.

  • Support reporting efforts focused on improving results and maximizing return on advertising spend.

  • Support regular website updates.

  • Leverage vendors and partners to best ensure that we are properly listed online.

Other activities may include:

  • Ensure that marketing and editorial content produced is clearly written, accurate, consistent, and impactful.

  • Copyedit and prepare content for various online materials, including convention website and marketing materials, tours, event descriptions, etc.

  • Support ILSs, location services, direct mail, marketing copy, and CRM integration.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in professional marketing, digital media and/or an advertising agency.

  • Experience in an agency environment preferred.

  • Experience in the multi-family or senior living environment beneficial, but not required.

  • Experience working with a CRM and Yardi a plus, but not required.

  • Experience in executing multi-channel marketing plans with a heavy focus on digital marketing.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and general communication capabilities.

  • Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.

  • Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

  • Proven track record managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually, and collaborating across teams.

  • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to execute tasks independently.

  • Team player personality and self-starter that works well with others and communicates easily with a variety of generations.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

  • Naturally curious and always striving to improve.

  • Self-aware and coachable.

  • Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships and lead through influence.
