Summary:

The GMS-Learning organization is seeking a Leader for our global learning and enablement team that manages our portfolio of global, core learning offerings. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of global learning program managers divided across our onboarding, solutions and functional skill programs for the GMS organization. They will also align closely with internal partners across GMS Learning, specifically our Client Engagement and Production & Operations teams.This role leads a team that manages learning programs and executes projects to create new and update existing offerings. This team's mission is to create and manage programs that impact the performance of the global GMS organization. The role is highly collaborative, with coordination and alignment across our global team being critical to success.The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, enablement or learning/training and experience running agile, global teams. This individual should be resilient, have deep critical thinking skills and an ability to thrive and inspire in the face of frequent change and ambiguity. They should have a history of proven success in scaling processes, delivering on large, complex global initiatives and a passion for impacting the GMS organization through learning.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a high performance team of enablement program managers while fostering team development and providing individual coaching as required

  2. Creatively navigate nebulous issues and business requirements with a passion for problem solving

  3. Continually drive toward operational excellence with a keen eye for identifying and scaling processes and workflow opportunities, holding the team accountable and tracking progress against team and GMS Learning-wide goals

  4. Craft strong team positioning, clear narratives, and mission/vision to drive influence across the GMS business and ensure we’re clearly communicating our value

  5. Follow and inform teamwide prioritization, planning and intake processes, ensuring that our enablement solutions delight, inspire and add business impact

  6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key global cross-functional stakeholders to collaborate on business needs, assess key learning opportunities and understand how best to align enablement solutions to impact priority business metrics

  7. Ensure all programs under management are organized and shared internally within GMS Learning to minimize confusion and maximize impact. This is done in partnership with our Knowledge Management lead to drive effective integration for both our internal GMS Learning teams and our GMS learners

  8. Identify and leverage program best practices across our full portfolio of offerings, ensuring our programs are as effective as possible both individually and collectively

  9. Emphasize scale for global support across multiple workflows and initiatives while meeting requirements for specific regions and verticals, including understanding technology solutions, cultural nuances and other needs

  10. Lead the global business planning process for the Program Management team. Analyze work, load balancing and resource needs across this diverse organization that serves both global and regional stakeholders

  11. Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree in education, marketing, operations or other related field

  2. 10+ years working experience within sales or service organizations, and within an operational capacity for a global company

  3. 3+ years experience in a leadership role including team management

  4. Program management knowledge with experience leading teams that focus on strategic projects with global, cross-functional goals

  5. Demonstrated experience identifying highly scalable and automated approaches to business problems

  6. Proven track record of identifying business problems and developing high impact and innovative solutions

  7. Experience working with a globally dispersed team

  8. Experience excelling in a fast changing environment and encourage stability in the face of change

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Background in change management best practices

  2. Experience leading a globally dispersed team

  3. Experience working with Facebook's family of apps and advertising solutions or other advertising technology
