The Oracle Central Cloud Customer Success Renewal team is responsible for customer longevity, retention, and incremental revenue growth. The Global Operations Customer Success Sr. Manager will be responsible for driving engagement and lead operational initiatives across a broad range of sales and technical enablement activities, all focused on helping Oracle continue to grow Cloud revenue through existing customer relationships. This person will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of operational resources and hiring additional resources as required by business responsibility expansion and sales growth. This role will regularly interact with sales team leaders and CSM leaders across organizations to understand business challenges and work to remove obstacles.

The ideal candidate will be energized with building a bright future and have deep knowledge in Customer Success and cloud services. Direct experience with developing and transforming organizations is desired. They will also have had prior experience working with and leading different operational disciplines and have an understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with organic growth. This person will serve as the primary liaison between the Oracle Global Business Units covered by the Central Cloud Customer Success Renewal team for strategic go-to-market initiatives, ongoing sales enablement, development of internal operational tools, and Cloud renewal standardization and best practices. The ability to quickly build trust and confidence with business stakeholders is also needed.

7 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales operations and operational management is desired. Proven track record in managing multiple operational initiatives through completion with the ability to also support and help close complex deals. Skilled in bringing all stakeholders to the table to resolve complex challenges with competing priorities. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and re-engineer business processes where needed that deliver tangible results. This role is responsible for overseeing all operational functions, initiatives, processes, and best practices for the Central Cloud Customer Success Renewal team as well as leading, training, developing, and cultivating an already outstanding high performing operational team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years proven work experience as Operations Manager or equivalent in the technology market

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Operations Management or related field, advanced degree highly desirable

  • Deep knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management best practices

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel as needed, may include international travel

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency. Provides business practices and processes. Drives policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization

  • s operational and financial business objectives. Provides analysis and advice to management in the areas of operations, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, pricing, and/or contracts. May also be responsible for administration, knowledge management, and/or communications.

Develops and monitor P&L forecasts. Develops and monitor metrics to measure other key performance indicators and group performance. Performs competitive analysis. Creates pricing strategy and cost accounting (business modeling) for projects. Reviews contracts for terms, pricing and approvals. Work with account team to close deals. Interfaces with client to resolve contract/delivery disputes. May be responsible for directing resource management staff, ensuring maximum utilization. May be involved with compensation and bonus process. Manage at least two direct reports.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired.

Colorado Pay Range: From $99,333 to $178,795 per annum
