What You'll Do

You will be part of a global team of Marketers acutely focused on accelerating growth, profitability and differentiation with Cisco resellers and distributors across all regions. You will work closely with the Global Partner Marketing Leads for Enterprise Networking and Security, helping them craft the overarching business propositions and successfully executing the strategic global partner/distributor marketing plans for these high-priority areas of the Cisco portfolio. To do this, you will gain a deep understanding of the Cisco partner ecosystem, the evolving roles of Resellers and Distributors, and the business go to market strategies we are driving and enabling for them. Your activities will include: writing engaging messaging; marketing content creation where needed at the global level or in support of the regions; leading and participating in marketing planning meetings with global and regional cross-functional teams; executing and measuring the success of omnichannel marketing communications. Resellers and Distributors drive the majority of Cisco revenue, and you will have significant opportunity to accelerate their success and business impact for Cisco.

Who You’ll Work With

The global partner organization is the team that drives the go to market business strategy. They are our primary stakeholders. Accelerating that Partner and Distributor go to market, for and with them, is our main goal. Other important stakeholders include Topic Team leads (portfolio and campaign marketing), our region partner marketing counterparts, and members of fellow teams across the Global Partner and Commercial Marketing Organization (e.g., Partner Experience and Partner Programs).

Who You Are

You are a digital marketer with at least five years of professional experience, preferably in the technology landscape. Familiarity with channel relationships is a plus. You are a skilled writer and communicator who can craft messages that inspire and engage. You understand data-driven digital marketing and why it’s so important to today’s business. You are someone who is excellent at multitasking; you can easily and calmly adapt to changes and prioritize and maintain focus on the things that will add the most value to the business. You are creative and love working with people… an effective collaborator who is comfortable working in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment with stakeholders at various levels in the organization. You can build and make the most of relationships with vendors, partners, and colleagues.

Minimum Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience with a focus on messaging and positioning.

  • Modern marketing skill set (data-driven, Eloqua, customer-experience focused)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications (or related field)
