Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) is one of the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the United States. The Manufacturing Operations team is focused on wafer fabrication. As part of the Manufacturing Operations team, you will provide support in understanding the tools and systems that are utilized and the product that is being produced.

Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Manufacturing Specialists (full time and contract) who are involved in the wafer fabrication process.
Schedules resources, develops staff, tracks metrics, and prepares reports and presentations regarding progress toward production goals.
Ensures safety, quality, and productivity of staff.
Shift: B-Sunday through Tuesday and alternating Saturdays 6:45pm-7:15am.
Skills and Qualifications
BS Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
3-5 years of manufacturing experience a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to assess situations and set priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
Strong data analysis and problem solving ability.
Knowledgeable on Theory of Constraints, Lean Manufacturing, and basic Fab operations.
Knowledge of Fab systems (AMHS, SiMAX, RTPMs, WorkPlace, DSS, MSS) preferred.
