The REX Home Loans (RHL) Team is looking for a highly motivated, start up and operationally-minded Sales Manager to supervise our team of Mortgage Loan Success Specialists and Loan Advisors. This person will develop, implement, measure, and enforce sales strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that drive towards lead conversion, business revenue goals, and a superior customer experience. For this role, it is critical to have experience cultivating a strong and functional team environment that is high performing and able to maintain customer excellence.
What You?ll Do:
Manage the mortgage sales team including Loan Success Specialists (LSS), Loan Advisor Assistants (LAA), and Loan Advisors (LAs)
Refine existing career track and training curriculum to promote an LSS to LAA and then to LA
Develop, implement, measure, and enforce sales strategies and company standard operating procedures (SOPs) that drive a superior customer experience
Oversee daily sales activities to ensure optimal conversions and achievement of monthly and quarterly business goals. This includes: lead pipeline, daily call and prospecting activities, ensure adherence to established lead nurturing cadence, and converting according to KPIs; pre-approval and loan application production by the Loan Advisors and communication to customers and REX brokerage as loans move through closing
Drive sales pipeline through Salesforce workflows; run and analyze reports on performance, communicate team progress towards KPIs and uncover key insights that will drive the business and customer experience forward
Train and coach sales team members by monitoring their calls, reviewing their KPIs and SOPs, and providing positive reinforcement and constructive feedback
Review and approve loan pricing exceptions, handle customer complaints, and be the single point of contact for internal escalations
Regularly review operations, be accountable for monthly and quarterly goals, and identify areas for improvement; collaborate closely with cross-functional and leadership teams such as REX brokerage Sales Operations, Product, and Marketing to streamline tools and processes
What You?ll Need:
3+ years of leading sales teams with previous supervisory experience
5 years of mortgage experience, preferably as a Loan Originator or Processor
A Bachelor?s degree in Business, Operations, Finance or a related field preferred, but not required
Proven record of analyzing processes and workflows in order to identify improvements and efficiencies, and 2) to define automation requirements for product/engineering support
Proven ability to turn ideas into actionable plans with linked KPIs and to then execute on those plans
Experience managing a team?s work, pipeline, and sales using a CRM
Experience with data entry, monitoring data quality, workflows, and reporting in Salesforce or another similar CRM
