Principal Member of Technical Staff - Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development

Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development

Responsibilities:

  • Define

and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework

& approach across project teams

  • Oversee

technological execution of the recommended test automation solution roadmap

across project teams

  • Evaluate

and select best usage of test automation tools for different purposes

  • Develop

new utilities and reporting mechanisms to support existing test automation

needs

  • Partner

with DevOps Engineers to build more test coverage into their own development

chains and new solutions

  • Build/Enhance

CI/CD pipeline

  • Define

and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing

  • Perform

independent verification and validation for assigned projects

  • Provide

leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation

across project teams

  • Champion

good test and quality practices throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 7

years of test development and/or software engineering experience, preferably on

SAAS applications

  • BS/MS

EE/CS or technical degree with relevant experience

  • Subject

matter expert in the automated testing areas

  • Experience

in developing automation using scripting or other languages (Python, Perl,

C/C , Ruby, JavaScript, C#, etc.)

  • Good

understanding of TDD & SQA methodologies, practices and Subject matter

expert in the automated testing areas

  • Proven

problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to develop

creative solutions

  • Experience

with Continuous Integration tools (Bamboo/Jenkins/Hudson etc.)

  • Experience

in API automation tools.

  • Ability

to Train junior team members in automation testing

  • Excellent

written and verbal communication, people and collaboration skills.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
