Job Summary

The Americas (AMR) Business Process Reengineering (BPR) team is looking for an exceptional project manager, with a proven record of leading diverse and complex projects from conception through implementation. The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for overseeing and leading cross functional teams through the definition of the business problem, process mapping of as-is and to-be solutions, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation. The primary focus area for this role will be supporting the Supply Demand Management (SDM) function and will include both regional and global projects.

  • Demonstrates a detailed knowledge of team roles in a typical Operations organization, and the processes they support within the organization

  • Broad supply chain exposure with expertise in a specific area(s) which may include systems, planning, fulfillment, execution, procurement or supply chain operations

  • Experience implementing supply chain systems/software preferred, but not required

  • 5+ yrs direct experience in a Supply Chain related function with direct experience within Supply Demand Management and/or Supply Demand Execution preferred


The AMR BPR Project Manager will be responsible for working with the SDM nt function to define and implement a growing project portfolio that will be carried out to support the team and customers that they interface with. In this position, you will oversee multiple projects/programs simultaneously, you will lead their cross functional teams through all aspects of the project from ideation through implementation, and you will be responsible for the overall condition/status of each project. You will think broadly, understand deeply, and be able to shape the new offerings and roadmap within the function they support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and operate equally well in both strategic and tactical situations within your projects.

  • Build strong relationships with business partners inside and outside the organization, demonstrate unyielding ownership and accountability, and use these strengths to influence the direction of the business function they support.

  • You should be skilled in navigating an environment of ambiguity and uncertainty, making decisions based on information that may be incomplete at times, and demonstrating an uncanny sense of when to hold course vs shift directions within their project teams.

  • Lead cross functional discussions, with attendees from varied backgrounds and personalities, and effectively keep the collective team on the best path for their given project goals.

  • Partner with global functional teams both inside and outside of the operations organization and maintains strong support for regional functional teams.

  • Engages globally to gain perspective in projects, understands differences in regional processes that are impacted by their project(s), and develops relationships to align on expectations for solutions being developed/

  • Performs in both strategic and tactical capabilities, and shifts between them as defined by the needs of each project.


Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline. MBA / MS desired; focus on Operations management and/or supply chain management preferred.
