Google Scaled Sales Engineer, Google Cloud (Portuguese) in Austin, Texas
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with cloud application development and deployment, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
Experience with cloud-related technologies and architectures across Software-as-a-Service (Saas), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and cloud productivity suites.
Ability to speak and write English and Portuguese in fluently and idiomatically.
MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science.
Technical sales experience or professional consulting experience in the fields of cloud computing, data, networking, information lifecycle management or Big Data.
Knowledge of DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, Load Balancing, VPN and VPC and working knowledge of Linux.
Ability to deliver a technical pitch.
Ability to speak and write in Spanish fluently and idiomatically.

As a Scaled Sales Engineer, you will work with the Sales team to introduce Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective, existing customers, and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks. Support local sales teams in pursuit of business opportunities and engage customers to address aspects of their on-prem or cloud infrastructure, applications deployment, and data lifecycle.
Identify business and technical requirements, conduct full technical discovery and architect client solutions to meet gathered requirements.
Manage technical projects, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
Work hands-on with Google Cloud Platform products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer/partner environments. Travel occasionally for meetings, technical reviews and onsite delivery activities.
Prepare and deliver product messaging in an effort to highlight the Google Cloud Platform value proposition, using techniques that include whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, and RFI response documents.
