Ideal candidate would implement technical solutions to enable Security, Compliance, and Data Privacy Protection solutions, within the business, application, data and infrastructure domains
This role requires a foundation in J2EE, SQL experience and Dev Op’s Expertise
This candidate needs the skills to automate repetitive tasks in an enterprise environment
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science, software engineering, information systems
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience collaborating across multiple functional and/or technical teams to deliver an Agile-based project
Applicants must have at least 3+ years relevant experience showing a strong technical background in software development and dev Operations in an enterprise business environment
3+ years’ experience delivering Java / J2EE Business Solutions (Client-side scripting, HTML5, CSS3, Java, J2EE, JMS, MVC framework, Web Services, Unix/MS Windows Shells)
2+ years’ experience SQL/Oracle
2+ years’ experience with OO analysis and design experience
Experience in delivering enterprise solutions with Spring Framework using Spring boot, JDBC Security and Micro services
Proficiency with JDBC, SQL database-stored procedures, JPA, Web Services (REST and/or SOAP), messaging (JMS, Kafka) and XML
Strong in Linux/Unix shell scripting and/or Python with focus in dev ops, and patch management.
A solid understanding of both UNIX-based (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX) and Window Operating systems
Detailed knowledge of network and Web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, etc)
Experience in installing, configuring, administrating, and performance tuning of Oracle WebLogic (or similar application server products)
Working knowledge with WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST)
Working knowledge of WebLogic administration concepts
Experience with CI/CD Technologies / Best Practices (Jenkins, Build pipelines, GitFlow, etc.)
Experience in Configuration Management and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Git, bitbucket, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
Experience with the ELK Stack processing records with filters and developing dashboards
Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental cloud security (e.g., Identity and Access Management, firewalls, etc...)
Working knowledge of the following CI/CD Technologies -Artifactory, Black Duck, Chef, CARA, SonarQube
Experience with Groovy, Kubernetes or Docker containers is a plus
Demonstrated production environment experience with cloud platforms such as PCF
