The objective of the Enterprise Contract Consulting (ECC) Team within the Global Licensing and Advisory Services (GLAS) Organization is to approach the market with a customer first mindset that is focused on proactive customer education and empowerment, that supports long term strategic relationships. We achieve this by providing customers with an open, transparent, and definitive assessment of their compliance position and effectiveness of their internal licensing controls.
ECC employs industry-leading practices and tools coupled with the most up-to-date Oracle license knowledge to minimize Oracle licensing risk and provide the ability to gain control of the Oracle license landscape.
We are seeking experienced and dynamic individuals to promote and deliver ECC services to customers and to contribute to the development and growth of the ECC business.
Our ECC Consultants have the unique opportunity to work across many Oracle functions and lines of business. Consultants regularly communicate with external stakeholders from C-level executives to DBAs.
- Leads ECC engagements remotely and/or on-site, leverages virtual teams through project management principles and collaboratively navigates the engagement from beginning to end. This is achieved by best matching which service offering suits the customer / partner engagement needs, obtaining an understanding of a customer/ partner’s IT environment and then recommending proper deployment of licenses. Through these activities, the Senior Consultant aims to transfer knowledge to our customers and partners throughout the engagement process to: Educate on Oracle licensing & business practices and their application. Equip with the skills, knowledge and/or tools needed to effectively manage Oracle licenses. Enable pro-active license control & management and the realization of the associated benefits. All services performed need the Senior Consultant to have a thorough understanding of the customer’s/partner’s Oracle IT environment, including Oracle Applications, third party (or custom), and underlying system architecture. Some service types also entail the execution of system queries and installation of custom measurement scripts to obtain product usage data.
Works with Customers, Sales Management, Legal, Contracts, Revenue Recognition, Approval teams and other ECC teams to lead a comprehensive engagement specific to Oracle Enterprise Agreements

Works within assigned territory
Ensures licensing engagements are delivered successfully with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
Builds relationship with internal stakeholders and LOB leaders to increase ECC visibility and facilitate engagement progress
Develops expertise in contractual agreements, licensing policies, measurement analysis, compliance and SAM practices in order to address the complexity of customer architectures and breadth of products
Consults internal and external customers on terms and conditions of contractual agreements
Supports customers with the analysis of their business, license estate and effectiveness of their internal licensing controls to ensure compliance with their contractual agreements
Supports the promotion of licensing policies and ECC services internally and externally
Contributes to cross-team projects aimed at increasing the sharing of best practices and the efficiency of ECC processes
Maintains current and historical knowledge of GLAS measurement tools, processes, policies and technical specifications, and pursues continued understanding of corporate, organizational and licensing updates as it relates to GLAS activities.
Executes ECC services through proactive management of cross-functional teams with timely accomplishment of review tasks and goals in order to gain a thorough understanding of their Oracle system environment and provide accurate licensing guidance.
Actively builds internal and external relationships by establishing trust through accurate knowledge sharing, licensing guidance, and transparent engagement activities.
Manages expectations of constituents involved in ECC engagement by working to resolve complex licensing issues leveraging Oracle’s contracts and business policies and presenting different options to achieve resolution.
Progresses ECC engagements through active listening and persuasively articulating, both verbally and written, review status and direction. Ensures questions and concerns are given appropriate and timely consideration.
Demonstrates balanced, impartial and timely judgment when making decision on the ECC engagement.
Self-motivates to independently achieve personal and team ECC goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience
3-5 years customer facing experience in IT/asset management consulting, audit or customer management
Ability to interpret and understand complex software licensing agreements and business practices and apply them to different scenarios.
Ability to relate smaller concepts to the overall "big picture".
Experience with executive-level presentations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Experience working in a dynamic environment, balancing challenging workloads and deadlines with attention to deliverables
Proactive, dynamic, and able to identify and deliver quality work even when unsupervised
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent English, other languages depending on the market / region
Proficient in MS Office
Understanding of IT technical architectures or affinity with technical matters
