Google Senior Product Manager, Legal Technology in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience building and shipping technical products

  • 10 years of experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with legal technology solutions

  • Experience building data scientist/quantitative analyst functions and requisite leadership

  • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, and/or complex supply chain networks.

  • Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

Our team works closely with creative and prolific engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The LegalWorks team is a Product and Engineering team that produces solutions for Googlers, by Googlers.

The Trust & Safety Legal Removals team builds platforms that enable Google to protect users and preserve user trust by removing search results and content that is illegal and harmful. This is a high-impact area for Google with significant visibility across the company. Our work is critical and is reflected in Google's public Transparency Report.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

  • Refine the business plan, build the team, and work with your group and cross-functional partners to increase our pace of innovation.

  • Deliver efficiency through platform implementation and improvement, driving impact through a reimagined user experience

  • Build product teams, enjoy developing people, and build out new functions.

  • Work closely with both executive stakeholders and team members.

  • Inspire the team to build and innovate Google-scale enterprise-grade solutions, get cross-team, cross-Product Area exposure, and make a big difference for Google, our users, and the world at large.
