We are hiring! Our premier chemical products manufacturing client has an immediate need for a Maintenance Planner II to work in their facility located in the Beaumont, TX area. Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all maintenance areas to be operating consistently with all requirements established by the company’s quality, cross contamination, microbiological contamination prevention, occupational health, safety (including process safety) and environmental protection requirements
Under minimal supervision, you will execute and coordinate maintenance, inspections, adjustments, tests, problem verification and installations of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to support the operations of the Plant
Perform preventive maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment such as: Water-cooled chillers screw cooling units. Direct expansion units, Consoles type units and Window units
Replace air filters and compressors, correct leakage of refrigerants and document refrigerant leak correction work to comply with Federal 40 CFR Part 82 of Ozone Depleting Substances
Knowledge in air flow balancing and ability to perform electrical troubleshooting work for refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
Responsible for implementing and meeting the corporate standards of loss prevention programs in the areas of environmental, occupational health, safety (including process safety) and industrial hygiene in the areas under its control
Must have the initiative to direct group in projects that involve two or more mechanics and assist peers in other skills (Instrumentalists, Electricians and Mechanics)
Must keep the work area and / or workshop clean at all times
Responsible for the implementation and compliance with corporate standards of loss prevention, industrial safety and hygiene programs in the areas under your control
Help restore plant operations after a fire, storm or earthquake
Use of uniform required for electricians / instrumentalists / refrigeration technicians
Knowledge of hand tools for electricians and refrigeration equipment (multimeters, vacuum pumps, pressure indicator clocks, refrigerant collection machine, refrigerant exhaust detectors, etc.)
Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
High School diploma and Certifications
2 - 4 years of related experience
HVAC/R and EPA 608 Technician Certification
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with a computer
License to Manage Forklifts
Communicate effectively both orally and writing
Maintain detailed and accurate reports
Ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and internal personnel
Compensation: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour W-2 only (sorry no Corp to Corp)
Duration: 12 Months to start, extendable
Shift: Monday – Thursday Days
