Description
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
Create drawings, sketches, diagrams, designs and layouts that exhibit the detail and method of assembly for a variety of machinery and mechanical devices using CAD/CAM systems
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
•Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools and controls using computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment
•Use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers and height gages
•Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed
•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Interpret, read and visualize drawings
Must have:

•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•Excellent web navigation skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
PREFERRED SKILLS
•Basic working knowledge of SolidWorks
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
•CAD experience in an environment supporting design, manufacturing or technical processes
•Experience using standard precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Stealth Products
•Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
REQUIRED EDUCATION
•High School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION
•Associate’s Degree in Engineering CAD Technology or a related technical discipline OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of CAD experience in an environment supporting design, manufacturing, or technical processes
