Job Description Responsible for recording and ensuring deliveries of Food and Beverage orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department. Essential Job Functions Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast paced environment, while providing superior guest service. Greet guests in a timely and professional manner; verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age. Possess demonstrated full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to independently make recommendations. Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner at the bar and lounge area. Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames; ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only. Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for service; conduct inventory of all service related supplies Consistently use suggestive selling techniques. Must perform job in a safe manner and ensure a safe workplace to include reporting unsafe work conditions and safety violations. Maintain professional conduct at all times; i.e.: No harassment, rude behavior, bullying or workplace violence. Perform other duties as assigned. Educational and Skills Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) three (3) years of bartender experience required with ability to demonstrate consistent guest service; theater experience desired; TABC or BASSET card may be required according to local and or state regulations. Ability to independently use job related cash registers, software/e-technology/cloud based solutions. Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate ensuring targeted business outcomes, and ability to create an environment of guest focused hospitality; Intercultural proficiency. Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to safety guidelines. This job occasionally requires the employee to stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
