Ameresco Senior Project Manager in Dallas Office, Texas

Ameresco currently has a new opportunity based in Texas for a Senior Project Manager to join the Southern Regional Construction Team in support of the successful construction implementation of multi-million-dollar AMR/AMI Smart Meter and energy efficiency projects.

  • Provide overall management of multiple construction projects, providing both offsite and onsite support of Construction Project Managers, including acting as Ameresco Southern Region’s representative to the Customer in the execution of all facets of the contract;

  • Impart working knowledge and understanding of advanced technologies which primarily involve AMR/AMI Smart meter installations; mechanical and electrical energy efficiency improvements, including direct digital controls systems installations, high efficiency motors, chillers, lighting, water conservation, and central plant optimization;

  • Provide leadership, planning, developing, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, negotiating subcontracts and PO terms and conditions, licensing, permitting, engineering support, and procurement to ensure the successful completion of our projects in a safe, timely, efficient, quality, and cost controlled manner;

  • Abide by applicable laws, policies, regulations, and procedures pertaining to the engineering, procurement, and construction of mechanical & electrical systems;

  • Effectively manage subcontractor teams and multiple project partners. Impart a thorough understanding and implement current OSHA Construction Industry safety regulations within 29CFR1926, as well as EPA/DOT regulations applicable to Universal and Hazardous Waste handling, interim storage, manifesting, transportation, and disposal.

  • Manage submittal review, contract administration, assembling O&M materials and technical reports, as well as preparing project budgetary and financial forecast data for monthly reports to the Regional Director.

Minimum Requirements:

BS/BA degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's level degree; will accept High School diploma or G.E.D in addition to 4 years of work related experience.

Minimum 8 years electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial power construction project management work experience focusing on facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, energy services, and renewable technology.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Completion or progress toward construction, engineering, or industry-related education preferred.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.

Proven experience implementing OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems, development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.

Energy efficiency construction project experience with increasing levels of responsibility including leading and managing construction teams and resources on highly complex and multi-site projects.

Strong verbal, written, computer, technical, communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.

Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.

Local candidates are preferred.

Extended periods of travel and lodging may be required based on project locations throughout Texas.
