The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) function is responsible for strategic and operational management of the technology environment supporting Citi’s Global Consumer Technology (GCB) function. Key responsibilities of the CTO include: building right organizational structure, supporting systems provide management framework for key controls, venues to help connect first-hand to all levels of the organization, All activity is strongly linked to the Strategy, Mission and Values.

  • Operations Analyst will partner with key stakeholders to create and communicate tactical execution plans and deployable solutions for a variety of areas impacting processes, delivery of business management deliverables for global regions.

  • Establish Line of sight operating plans established that translate the strategy, annual goals, key processes, activities and projects into an overall cohesive plan. Performance deep dive to review service improvement plans and course correct where required. Leverages materials above plus a “4 box” milestone report that provides additional detail for every Must Win Battle in the summary flash. Also, incorporates standard financial, risk and control frameworks.

  • Drive 3-year strategies that communicate our mission, vision, challenges, and long term goals. Develop annual plans that are actionable, cohesive and relevant to our team members and stakeholders. Standardize our functional performance management to effectively and efficiently support both internal team operations and standard communications to key stakeholders.

  • Deliver core operational metrics/KPIs enabling the leadership team to control and manage their respective areas. Define, measure and automate the key KPIs and metrics and provide variance analysis and insight into leadership team.

  • Balance short- and long-term priorities and remain focused within a rigorous, fast-paced and dynamic environment. Regulatory certifications preferred but not required.

  • Strategic and tactical thinker. Manage knowledge of risks and controls as well as understanding of control rationalization, optimization, effectiveness and efficiency is also required Providing clear, concise information to support the creation of senior management reports.

  • Champion issue management and make recommendations to minimize exposure or loss. May interpret and analyse information gathered from numerous applications and third party sources and identify red flags that prompt further inquiry. Recommend process improvements, formulate and recommend action response to mitigate risk and resolve inquires and escalations. May provide quality assurance review on operating key controls. Assist line leadership in the identification and documentation of gaps and corrective action plans where applicable to assist departmental and organizational compliance efforts.

  • Partner with country and regional management in order to optimize and grow the workforce in line with strategic priorities including identifying opportunities through capacity analysis

  • Develop and implement relevant operating model changes in order to pivot the organization to digitization

  • Drive engagement and participation of seniors across key workstreams, programs and teams including developing, cascading and managing metrics to align seniors on priorities

  • Strong customer and quality-focus is a must. Sound problem resolution, judgment, decision making and influencing skills required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills Excellent English communication skills both written and oral. Self-starter and ability to work in a team environment. Hard working and self-motivated. Able to work effectively under pressure. Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.

  • Implementation of a high standard of governance across all business management dimensions of performance required to achieve GCB business objectives and the objectives of the CTO function; ensuring a coordinated and consistently high standard of governance globally, regionally and within each CTO function.


  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience, information technology, software engineering or a related field.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years in senior technology/engineering leadership roles within financial services or a related industry.

  • Strong executive-level communication skills; both in writing and verbally.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with broad range of functional teams and executives. Commercially savvy and experienced in formulating and executing innovative commercial arrangements for products and/or services.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within an organization.

  • Strong financial aptitude coupled with proven quantitative, analytical and strategic planning skills

  • Attention to detail is paramount

  • Ability to take assignment from Sr. directors and work independently to frame material and/or manage resolution

  • Strong attention to detail will assist in data quality control and documentation consistency

  • Ability to drive resolving business issues and implementing solutions in areas that include organizational effectiveness /development, strategic planning, or process improvement

  • Self-directed, motivated and managed; ability to deal with imperfect information, decision and drive to successful conclusions.

  • Comfortable working in fast paced environment and ability to handle constant pressure, juggle multiple demands.

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and forming logical actions as result

  • Excellent relationship management skills with business units.

  • Broad financial expertise with knowledge of corporate affairs, financial and economic fundamentals, and business policies, products, processes, systems and roles.
