The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.
The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.
The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.
The Data Privacy team within Risk, Finance, and Privacy Data Management is responsible for defining and implementing the business strategy and evolving capabilities for Data Privacy. This includes preparing Wells Fargo for the business and technology impacts following the passing of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as well as positioning the company for additional emerging domestic and international data privacy laws. This role reports to the Da ta Privacy Business Initiative Senior Manager.
Other job responsibilities include:
Partner with internal team members to understand front line privacy processes.
Developing and supporting the COE framework for management of privacy notices and disclosures
Developing holistic operations strategy to meet compliance requirements, anticipated federal requirements, and process optimization and enhancements
Developing QA/QC processes
6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience
2+ years of consultative business analysis experience
2+ years of process design or improvement experience
1+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Meeting facilitation experience in leading discussions that result in consensus and commitment
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience in one or a combination of the following: strategy, implementation, data privacy, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), information security or information risk management
1+ years of privacy notices and disclosures management experience
Experience in execution and governance of data privacy operational processes
Experience consulting, collaborating and influencing across a matrix organization with senior leaders
Experience creating training materials and communications
Experience developing key performance metrics, dashboards or scorecards
Experience identifying process gaps and offer solutions to remediation
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
